== Library ==

To borrow or return books from the faculty library, the computer in our conference room, BA 07 G12,
can be used. The computer is located at the rear wall next to the windows.

Requirements:
 1. TU card or TU library card[[BR]]
 1. books to loan or return, with the barcode from the library inside the front cover

Procedure:
 1. switch on computer and screen, if necessary
 1. click user E322
 1. click on the ALEPH icon on the desktop, login with user TUW322, password tuw322
 1. click the head symbol and register with your TU card or TU library card, using the barcode reader
 1. to borrow: click "|->" symbol (Ausleihe) and read the barcode inside the front cover of individual books[[BR]]
 to return, click on the corresponding button in the list of borrowed books
 1. quit ALEPH, log out, switch off computer and screen

To use the print server when only the cups-client package is installed: Put the line[[BR]]
 `ServerName 128.130.169.59`[[BR]]
either into the file /etc/cups/client.conf or into .cups/client.conf in your home directory.

== Mathematica, Matlab, freie Programmierung ==

Mathematica und Matlab stehen auf [:math: math.fluid.tuwien.ac.at] zur Verfügung und können auch
auf dem eigenen Rechner installiert werden. Accounts auf math vergibt T. Loimer. Die Fonts für
Mathematica müssen, auch wenn auf math gerechnet wird, auf dem eigenen Rechner
[:mathematica: installiert] werden. Weiters stehen die NAG C Library sowie die Intel Math Kernel Library
auf dem Rechner zur Verfügung (Updates: ca. 1 Mal pro Jahr).
